To reduce the stress of planning your dream day, we spoke to celebrity fashion stylist Kelly Augustine to find out what’s currently on her radar for summer weddings. We even threw in a few trends we are falling in love with this bridal season!
After years of observation, we noticed that brides and grooms are more likely to push outside their comfort zone with vibrant fashions and eye-catching accessories when their venue is surrounded by tropical and nautical themes.
A summer wedding must-have on Augustine’s list is definitely color. “Colorful wedding dresses are so much fun,” the content creator explains. “We’ve been through so much the past two years, we deserve some color!”
With so many sneaker choices on the market, the possibilities are endless when choosing the perfect kicks for your wedding ceremony. Augustine is personally a big fan of the growing bridal trend, which she highlighted in Gabourey Sidibe’s BRIDES feature back in May.
“I’m really loving the trend of sneakers with wedding dresses,” the fashion stylist shares with BET Lifestyle. “Being a girl from NYC, the mix of formal and chill is my sweet spot.”
