SHE'S earned herself the nickname 'Thrifty Kate' over the years, thanks to her love of wearing outfits more than once.

And as she attended the Royal Variety Performance alongside husband Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge did it again - wearing both a sequinned green gown and gold earrings she previously sported during her tour to Pakistan back in 2019.

The mother-of-three looked stunning in her Jenny Packham long-sleeved gown - perfectly festive for this time of year - which she accessorised with a bejewelled green clutch bag and green suede heels.

She previously wore the dress to an evening at the National Monument of Pakistan in Islamabad, hosted by the British High Commissioner Thomas Drew, and accessorised it with a green beaded scarf for that occasion.

But the scarf was absent from the ensemble as she posed for pictures at the Royal Variety Performance.

Her hair was styled differently to normal - pinned to the side in loose curls - while her make-up was effortlessly elegant, with a pink lip and gently smoky eye.

The hairstyle meant that attention was drawn to her choice of earrings for the occasion, with eagle-eyed fans quick to note that she was once again wearing the Zenyu Chandelier Hoop Earrings by demi-fine jewellery company Missoma.

She previously debuted the dainty 18 carat gold earrings with a more casual outfit on the third day of her Pakistan tour back in 2019.

And fans will be delighted to discover that, unlike some of Kate's jewellery choices, the hoops are more affordable - at a cost of £125.

The evening was a chance for Kate and William to enjoy some time together away from the children, and the future king looked dapper for the occasion too - opting for a smart navy blue velvet tuxedo and bowtie.

The Royal Variety Performance was filmed back in November, with Kate and William treated to performances from Ed Sheeran, Rod Stewart, Elvis Costello, Gregory Porter and James Blunt.

Alan Carr hosted, while other comedians taking to the stage included Bill Bailey and Josh Widdicombe.

The Royal Variety Performance aired on television on Sunday night, and is available to watch on catch up on the ITV Hub.

In other royal news, the Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing a festive jumper in the first look at the Christmas Royal Carols special.

The Queen has urged Kate and William to stop flying in helicopters over safety fears.

And the Royal Family's VERY strict Christmas dinner seating plan is revealed.
