A lasting mystery of the demon killer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was suddenly solved in the first episode of the arc of the entertainment district.

Warning: The following content contains spoilers for "Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui", Season 2, Episode 8 of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", which is now available on Funimation, Hulu, and Crunchyroll.

One of the Demon Slayers: Kimetsu no Yaiba The longest-lasting mystery is finally solved in the first episode of the entertainment section-and it was solved by an angry drunk. Since the battle with Yui, Kamado Tanjirou has been hoping to find someone who can explain Kagura, the God of Sun, to him. This is a powerful breathing method that can destroy demons and make Tanjirou unable to move after one use, but even Hashira has never heard of it. However, before Tanjirou's death, Anjuro guided him to the lotus country and helped Tanjirou, and the answer was indeed waiting for the young demon killer.

Tanjiro himself learned Hinogami Kagura from his father. It is definitely not used to kill demons, but as a seemingly ritual dance in the snow. Since remembering this technique, Tanjirou almost defeated Rui (a low-key cheater) with it and killed Enmu, one of the lower ranks in the twelve months. He also used it to wound the third-ranked Akasha, although this once again caused him to lose the blade. The only drawback of Hinokami Kagura is that Tanjirou cannot move after casting, so it can only be used as a last resort.

After the Mugen Train battle incident, Tanjirou's wound was partially healed, and he went to Lotus Country. There, he planned to convey Kejuro's last words to his family and search for records about Hino Kagura in the history of fire-breathing. Surprisingly, Kyojiro's drunk father got the answer Tanjirou had been looking for, even though he revealed it out of anger rather than being helpful. After discovering Tanjiro's Hanazawa earrings, Kyojiro's father accused him of being a user of the sun's breath.

It turns out that Hanafuda earrings are a symbol of the sun's breathing, and Kyojuro's father declared it to be the most primitive and powerful breathing style. So far, as we all know, the five main breathing methods are water, fire, wind, stone and thunder. However, Keijuro's father claimed that these were nothing more than cheap imitations of the sun's breath. There is no doubt that Hinokami Kagura and Sun-Breathing are the same thing, because Tanjiro's father wears earrings and other similar costumes when performing dances.

Given that the sun is the Achilles heel of all demons, it makes sense that solar breathing should be the most powerful way of breathing. Considering that Jupei has never heard the term Hinokami Kagura, and may be the father of the only remaining user Tanjirou, and did not use it to kill demons, Style seems to have disappeared over time. This may be the real reason why Muzan recognized Tanjiro's Hanafuda earrings and wished him to die, because he may also know the fact that solar respirators pose a major threat to demons-more users than any other breathing method.

At present, even after a lot of training, Tanjirou can't move after using Hino God Kagura. If he wants to defeat Muzan and find a cure for Nezuko, then mastering the most powerful breathing method available is the way to do so. Now that he knew the truth behind Sun God Kagura, it was only a matter of time before he figured out how to use it more effectively. Once he did, Tanjirou might even surpass Zhuzi himself.
